This page explains the small amount of data used by Calculation Online for contact messages and basic technical audit of valid methane number calculations.

Browser identifier

The site stores a random anonymous browser identifier in your browser. It is used only for technical audit and simple usage insight, such as understanding whether the calculator is being used, whether visitors return, and which deployed version handled a calculation.

The identifier is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling.

Calculation audit

Valid calculations may be logged for technical audit. The logged data is limited to the random anonymous browser identifier, country, input basis, spread metrics, and build version.

Calculation audit logs do not include the entered gas composition, the calculated MN_C result, IP address, or user agent.

Contact messages

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email and handled like ordinary email correspondence sent directly to the maintainer.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is submitted by a human visitor, and the message may be processed by the configured email delivery provider.
